Mutualism seminar/May 2008

From The Libertarian Labyrinth
Jump to: navigation, search
Beginning in July, 2008, the Libertarian Labyrinth will host a number of self-teaching aids, beginning with introductions to mutualism and universology. The course in mutualism will begin with a survey of pre-anarchist texts and then proceed into a reading of Pierre-Joseph Proudhon's What Is Property? and a brief survey of works by Pierre Leroux. This will be followed by a guided reading of the works of William Batchelder Greene, and related works by Orestes Brownson. From there, we'll turn back in time, to survey the early writings of Josiah Warren, before turning to examine The Spirit of the Age.
